Transactions And Insights

Use Transactions to review what happened after card spending.

Look for:

  • Merchant.
  • Date.
  • Amount.
  • Category or envelope.
  • Status.
  • Declines or blocked transactions.

You can also open an envelope to review activity tied to that envelope.

A declined transaction usually means one of these is true:

  • The envelope did not have enough money.
  • The card was frozen, inactive, canceled, or revoked.
  • A card limit was reached.
  • The wrong card was used.
  • Family permission blocked the spend.

Use Insights after you have transaction history. Insights may show spending health, category patterns, and budget progress.

If Insights is empty, create envelopes, connect a bank, create cards, top up, and spend from cards first.

Use Family Activity to review household spending by member and envelope. Family admins see broader household activity than members.
